Knox United Stands in Solidarity Against Gender Violence. (March 12th, 2017)
The congregation of Knox United joined other United Churches in wearing black to support a World Without Gender Violence. This comes at a time when 67% of Canadians say they have personally known at least one woman who has experienced physical or sexual abuse, and approximately every six days, a woman in Canada is killed by her intimate partner. We support the call of International Women's Day - "Be Bold For Change."
